Synopsis
Terror strikes Longhead Bay when Creeping Alien Foreheads begin attaching themselves to local townspeople and seizing their very souls – launching a vast invasion from Space!

By remarkable coincidence, sexy, arrogant scientist, Sheila Bexter begins testing her theory that the forehead –not the brain- is the seat of all human knowledge. She formulates a human extract – Foreheadazine - and convinces gullible colleague, Dr. Phillip Latham that –with enough Foreheadazine – he can become the most brilliant scientist in the world!

Catastrophe reigns when the ill-fated experiment goes horribly, horribly wrong -- meanwhile, the entire town of Longhead Bay is being taken over by sinister, crawling browlike nightmares in a terrifying cataclysm of Corpses and Chaos!

Production Notes
Production is now commencing on the followup to Larry Blamire's critically acclaimed spoof THE LOST SKELETON OF CADAVRA.

We are proud to announce that TRAIL OF THE SCREAMING FOREHEAD will be the first feature under the new "Ray Harryhausen Presents" banner, in conjunction with Ray and his producer-partner Arnold Kunert, with stop-motion effects by the fabulous Chiodo Bros.

Work under the "RH Presents" banner reflects a certain sense of tradition, and of course a focus on championing the art of stop-motion animation. It's also family-friendly, which for scifi-horror (even a comedy) seems a bit rare these days. This will be the first of many such collaborations we have planned. We should also note that "RH Presents" has numerous other projects in the works as well, including a series of Poe shorts.

The ensemble cast from LOST SKELETON OF CADAVRA returns, with the addition of several new actors including Daniel Roebuck and veterans HM Wynant, James Karen and Betty Garrett.

Ray Harryhausen Presents
Ray Harryhausen Presents is the latest venture between the legendary visual effects artist and longtime colleague and producer, Arnold Kunert. Their goal is to bring Ray Harryhausen's numerous unrealized projects from the 1940s and 1950s to the screen and offer support and encouragement to the many writers, directors and visual effects artists whose careers were greatly influenced by the pioneering work of Ray Harryhausen.

Ray’s reputation and wide-ranging influence in the film industry stem from his unique and groundbreaking use of stop-motion animation in such landmark films as The 7th Voyage of Sinbad, Jason and the Argonauts and Clash of the Titans.

The visual effects in all Ray Harryhausen Presents projects will be produced primarily in stop-motion animation. Computer-Generated Imagery (CGI) may also be utilized when stop-motion animation proves impractical, and Ray certainly considers CGI as one of many useful tools in the arsenal of special effects production.

Ray Harryhausen Presents intends to spotlight short and feature films which bring fantasy and adventure back to audiences of all ages: traditional, exciting, fun, with a sense of wonder and an anything-can-happen sense of magic.
